The Daily Blues![]() The Daily Blues is Israel's leading blues band. Led by Chicago-born harmonica player/singer Dov Hammer the band has been performing under this name since the spring of 1997. Since then The Daily Blues have performed at the international guitar festival in Tel Aviv and have appeared several times on Israel's channel 2 tv. In june '98 "The Daily Blues" hosted Blues singer "King" Ernest Baker for an 8 -day Israeli tour,including a performance at the "Jazz Blues and Nature" festival, and in November '98 they hosted Chicago blues singer Zora Young for a 7-day Israeli tour. The band appears regularly at such venues as Tel Aviv's "Camelot" club,"Martef 10" in Haifa, "The animal farm" in Tiv'on and many other clubs and festivals around the country.

THE MUSICIANS![]() ![]() DOV HAMMER Harmonica and vocals. Played for four years with Canadian blues Artist Ted Cooper,as well as such blues artist as pianist Ken Saydak, Billy Branch,Paul deLay and Ronnie Peterson, as well as many Israeli artists. Has also appeared on several albums by Israeli artists, such as pop singer Iggy Waxman and local blues band "Sanhedrin".
